Introduction

dsh-clipfile

Attach files and folders in the DeepSeek Harness (DSH) Web composer.

What it does

  • Clipboard paste (⌘V) — copy files/folders in Finder, paste into the composer. Detected via osascript furl, no upload needed.
  • Native picker (+ button) — a folder-styled button next to the composer opens the macOS file/folder chooser (multi-select).
  • @-mention path completion — type @ + keyword in the composer to fuzzy-search paths (mdfind-backed).
  • Paged Markdown conversion — pasted folders are converted in place by Python into INDEX.md + pages/*.md (summary index first), so the agent reads large folders page by page instead of dumping everything.
  • Removable chips — every attachment is a chip under the composer; removes it (and its path token in the draft), click reveals it in Finder.

Attachments are zero-copy: the converter reads the original path read-only and writes only the paged Markdown pack under .dsh-clipfiles/md/.

Install

dsh plugin --profile web add whyzsm/dsh-clipfile

macOS only (uses osascript / NSOpenPanel / python3 at /opt/homebrew/bin/python3).
