Introduction

dsh-skin-argentina

阿根廷 · 梅西 (Argentina · Messi) web skin for the DeepSeek Harness GUI.

A pure front-end client plugin — no backend, no configuration. Installed, it:

  • Applies a celeste/navy/gold theme via ctx.theme.overrideTokens(...) on top of whatever built-in theme (light / dark / system) you use — follows your Appearance selection automatically.
  • Puts a gold photo background on the sidebar and a Messi photo background on the main area (thin overlays keep text readable; layers self-heal if the UI re-renders).
  • Adds a roaming #10 badge (three-star Argentina roundel) that rolls around the viewport like a marble — pointer-events: none, never blocks clicks — plus a gold ring that slowly rotates.

Install

From npm (once published):

dsh plugin --profile demo add dsh-skin-argentina

From GitHub (no registry needed):

dsh plugin --profile demo add github:<you>/dsh-skin-argentina

Ad-hoc without a profile:

dsh web --patch ./dsh-skin-argentina/cordis.patch.yml

Then open the GUI — the skin applies on page load. Light and dark both supported; switch in Settings → General → Appearance.

Uninstall

dsh plugin --profile demo remove dsh-skin-argentina

The prebuilt lib/client.js is the runtime artifact (closure-factory bundle loaded through the web module loader, module id dsh-skin-argentina). Source is included for transparency and re-building; to rebuild, run the package through the harness repo's clientBundle tsdown preset with dsh-skin-argentina as the bundle id, then ship lib/client.js.

Customization

Everything is parameterized at the top of src/client/index.ts:

  • Palette: CELESTE / NAVY / GOLD constants and the LIGHT_TOKENS / DARK_TOKENS alias tables.
  • Backgrounds: overlay opacity in the .dsh-arg-sidebar-bg / .dsh-arg-main-bg CSS rules; images are base64 in src/assets.ts (regenerate with the assets in assets/).
  • Badge: size, speed and bounce kick in the marbleStep physics block.

Publish

npm login
npm publish # requires your own npm account/scope

or push to GitHub and install via github:<you>/dsh-skin-argentina. Tag the repo with the dsh-plugin topic for discoverability, and share in the DeepSeek Harness Discord community.

Notes

  • Theme ids of third-party skins are an in-process extension per the platform ui-theme contract; this skin uses an override layer, so it applies automatically on every page load without any selection.
  • The background layering relies on current GUI DOM structure heuristics (left 280px column / right main column with theme background colors). If a future Harness release changes that structure, the skin degrades gracefully to the color theme only (no errors).
