Introduction
dsh-chrome-app-launcher
A DeepSeek Harness plugin that creates a Windows desktop shortcut which launches dsh web in a Chrome app-mode window (no address bar / no tabs).
What it does
On every boot (Windows only), the plugin:
- Writes a small launcher
.batinto%LOCALAPPDATA%\dsh-chrome-app-launcher\launch-dsh.bat - Creates a Desktop shortcut
DeepSeek Harness.lnkpointing at it
Double-clicking the shortcut:
- auto-detects Chrome (registry
App Pathsfirst, then common paths, then Edge as fallback) - starts
dsh web --no-openin the background - waits for the port to become ready
- opens the Web GUI in a Chrome app-mode window (with a fresh
--user-data-dirso it is a real standalone app window even when Chrome is already running) - closing that terminal window stops the service
Configuration
Configure via settings.yaml (or the bundle patch):

Platform
Windows only (win32). On other platforms the plugin is a no-op.
